Gosh, it's been a while folks.
I could blame the long blog gap on lots of things: multiple moves, a new & intense job, the darn pandemic, the birth of my son, and plenty other life-changing things have happened the last three years.
Beyond this is my own reluctance to talk about myself--not a great trait for someone who wants to connect with their readers, I'm the first to admit. I envy people for which this comes naturally--really, I do. I don't know if it's my own life-long reticence, or being the youngest (always needing to be quiet to spy on my older siblings and their friends) or what, but I definitely have a hard time getting personal with people in any fashion, let alone online.
But whether it's one or all of these things, I've decided to make some changes around here--both here on my blog and in my social media accounts. It's nearly a New Year, and I want to connect with more of you. In 2022, I'm aiming for more posts here on the blog and closer to weekly posts in my social media feeds.
So to begin, some news! The first book in loosely-related holiday series I'm writing is coming out soon--The Wedding Setup! I'm super excited for people to read this book, a lighthearted WLW romance. It takes place in my hometown, Loveland, CO in the two weeks leading up to a Valentine's Day wedding.
The Wedding Setup and the other holiday novels will all be stand alone, but related loosely through different holidays and some overlapping characters (minor characters becoming major characters, basically, from book to book). I'm very exited to share all of them with you as they come out, likely about once a year for my next few novels.
I'm right in the midst of my Christmas-themed novel which will come and next year, and which I'll get to share more about soon. I'll be doing a cover reveal as it becomes available, and sharing some sneak peeks as well.
So as I turn a new page, I welcome you to join me! Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!
This will serve as my writing and reading blog.
